Tripadvisor Reviews
mia s2024-08-21 Lovely small site Fourth time at this campsite and always come back, stayed 4 nights non electric hook, large field to stay in and quiet on weekdays and busier on the weekends as expected. the staff are friendly and bathrooms are always clean, we pitched up in the corner to shelter from rainy weather and it is far away from the toilets and quite a walk, easily solved though if you wanted to be closer, pitch closer plenty of room! Feels really homely and safe here, there’s also lots to do in local area, jack and hill windmill lots of walks, golf club and driving range nearby lots of fast food places and local shops minutes away. Gary J2024-08-18 Outstanding Just had 2 nights here, arrived late on Friday evening and was met by Chantelle, wow so friendly, keep up the good work. Pitch was perfect plenty of space and well maintained. Showers and loos were spotless always, plenty of hooks in the showers, water always just the right temp, perfect volume of power. What more to say really needs 10 stars and yes I will be back very soon. One of the best sites I have been on over the last 38 years. The staff were always so happy and helpful, a really credit to the camping community. Thank you again. Lee Merril2024-08-17 Great site, lovely sunsets. Fantastic site, everything you need, clean and tidy for a campsite. Flat pitches grass was short, plenty off other campers, loads off room. Great loction lots off takeaway if you don't want to cook. Very quite after dark, quite in the morning. I asked if I could be close to toilet block, which they did, and gave disabled toilet/shower code because off my dodgy leg. Would I recommend, already have, will I go again YES. Tour371001499392024-08-15 Great location and friendly staff I, Stephen, and Richard just wanted to share this with you all – Southdown Way Caravan & Camping Park is one of our favourite sites. We only live away from our home only 20 mins drive and we go there twice or three times per year. A view at a site is amazing with South Downs plus a Jack and Jill windmill you can see, if you are lucky enough with a clear sky and in the evening the sunsets are amazing too. Also, Gloria and all her staffs at a site are great and so friendly. They are always there to greet us on our arrivals or departs. For any of you who haven’t been there – trust us you will loves this site and the views. We are hoping to go back in early October for the third times this year. Happy Days! Terry2024-07-22 Our trip Very kind people. We got delayed on a Friday evening due to traffic and kindly stayed around late to book us in. The weather though was horrendous blowing a gale and belting with rain. In short the tent leaked but as we were down for a girls football tournament for two days, the staff kindly let us leave our tent up to dry whilst we had a spot of sun and we were offsite. The girls loved the site and fire pit for toasting marshmallows. We have now been two years running and will come back again, hopefully will bring the sun too. Thanks again to all the staff MelanieTwo2024-06-26 Lovely site Lovely large level pitches with great views and fabulous sunsets. There's lots of space for family ball games and a small playground for younger children. Pitches are numbered in the family field but in the large rally field, they aren't. The showers can be a challenge as they are super powerful - take a carrier bag to put ALL your clothes and belongings in and hang it on the hook to prevent everything getting wet! Staff are great whether on the phone or in person. The little shop sells basics and locally there are several shops and pubs and a farm shop and garden centres. There is some road noise but it's not so much to be disturbing. Recommended. There aren't many campsites close to Brighton. Sara A2024-06-04 Will return soon Campsite was lovely . Pitches were clearly marked and well laid out . Shower block and toilets all kept very clean . Only issue washing machine was broken so had to hand wash and the shop didn’t have much . Everyone followed the rules ie no noise after 11pm which made it a lovely place to be . Will come again Dog loved it too
